The Best Christmas Song Ever

Darlene Love’s “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)”

I listen to this whole album (A Christmas Gift For you from Phil Spector) on repeat for the whole of December, but this is by far my favorite track.

This one will also always have a special place in my heart. What are your favorite songs for the holiday season?

Unrelated to Christmas songs but the adorable Danielle from Sometimes Sweet is doing a super cute giveaway right now. You still have a couple days left to enter!

  1. That is one of my all time favorites as well. I also love Mariah’s “All I Want for Christmas is You” and “Merry Christmas Baby” by Otis Redding. It takes me right back to my mom and dad dancing to it while baking cookies and trimming the tree.

  2. Holly Leaves & Christmas trees by Elvis

  3. Little Drummer Boy/Peace On Earth by Bing Crosby and David Bowie is the best Christmas song in the history of Christmas.

    • The other day I heard The Monarch and Dr Mrs The Monarch from the Venture Bothers doing a cover of it. It was EERIE, to say the least.

  4. The best WTF? Christmas songs:

Must be Santa by Bob Dylan
12 Days of Christmas by Straight no Chaser
R2-D2 We Wish You a Merry Christmas by C3PO
